TEAM INDIA's 2011 World Cup Performance -- my ANALYSIS
In my Opinion, India is a Very good Team when it is seen on Team Chart.. Sachin, Sehwag, Kohli, Dhoni, Raina, Pathan, Yuvi.. Having a Strong batting line-up. Bowlers like Zaheer, Harbajan are good. Unfortunate thing is Praveen is out of team when WC is just to start..Seamer like Zaheer is not having a good support from the another end..
Now, India started depending on a Single Person for a match rather than performing as a whole.. Every match has a key player who performed well in either batting or bowling. First match against BANGLA, sachin and sehwag did well, Bowlers failed but the HUGE TARGET saved INDIA from LOSS. Second Match against ENG.. this time SACHIN performed well and Bowlers repeated the same as of the first match, Match ended in a TIE. Now the Third match against IRELAND, Yuvi allround performance saved INDIA. The fourth match, vesus Netherlands.. Zaheers Bowling and Yuvi's batting saved India.
Coming to Last match, except Sachin, Sehwag and Gambhir, none of the batsmen performed well. Nehra, Munaf gave runs at a critical intervals and INDIA has lost the match..
I don't know why Dhoni gave bowling to Nehra, who is not in form... instead of giving to him, if harbhajan was given the last over, the result would have changed. Ashwin who is having good track record than Piyush was kept to Bench. Raina was also settled to bench for the last four matches.
Atleast now, Dhoni has to think what he is doing and what to do next..
TEAM INDIA is lacking TEAM EFFORT.. this has been clearly seen in the last four matches..
I hope INDIA would make some changes and improve well and perform in the Coming matches..
INDIA To get into Quarter Finals..
1) Should Win over WEST INDIES
2) Bangladesh should loss to South Africa
3) England should loss to West indies
4) Indians should gain more RUN RATE than England and Bangladesh
